Released: 3/4/19

The AIMS v1.42 release includes several reported bug fixes and the following functionality enhancements:

Transferring Clients between Courts

For customers configured with multiple Courts within a single jurisdiction or a statewide configuration, AIMS now provides the ability for Users with the Edit Courts permission to transfer a Client from one Court to another.

From a Client’s Involvement Overview, Users can transfer a Client to another Court by clicking on the Edit (pencil) icon next to the Court/Judge field. The Edit Court dialog will open and the User will select the new Location, Court and Reason for the transfer, as well as any notes before clicking the Next:

On the next screen, Users can select the new Caseload, Track, Phase, Docket Schedule, Drug Testing Group and the number of Curfew Checks/week, as needed. When the appropriate changes are completed, Users click the Transferbutton to complete the Court transfer.

Once transferred, the User in the new Court/Caseload is notified. The notification type is “Involvement Transferred” – the description will read, “Transferred from <previous Court name> due to <Reason> .”

Users can opt in/out of this Notification type by selecting the Gear icon (top right of screen) to manage their Notifications.

Once transferred, the User in the new Court can see the client’s history, including the Court they were transferred from, reason and all of the Client’s progress and Involvement history, including Notes, Treatment, Contacts, Drug Tests, Demographics, etc., from the previous Court. Users from the new Court have the ability to further modify the Client’s active Phase requirements.

Days in Phase, Days in Program and Sobriety Date will remain the same after the transfer.

Users can only transfer to a Court where the User has the Edit Courtspermission; if a User does not have the Edit Courts permission, the Edit Courticon is disabled with the permissions tool tip.

Track/Phase and Caseload Filters Added for Treatment/Education Attendance

AIMS now provides added filtering capabilities for Track/Phase and Caseload related to Treatment/Education Attendance.

A filter panel is now displayed on the right of the screen when accessing Treatment/Education Attendance; Users can open/close the panel by using the Filter icon.

No filters are selected by default and all Involvements enrolled in the program are displayed.

Users may filter by:

  • Client Involvement
  • Caseload (including “Unassigned”)
  • Track/Phase
  • Gender

Note that the filter listing is dynamic, presenting only a list of available Caseloads, Tracks/Phases and Genders for Clients enrolled in a particular program. As an example, if a Client assigned to the Caseload Phoenix Drug Court – 3 was enrolled in this particular program for this specific date, Phoenix Drug Court – 3 would appear in the filter listing; likewise, if no enrolled Clients were Track 2 participants, Track 2 would not appear on the filter listing.

Ability to Track Facilitator on Treatment/Education Attendance

A new Facilitator field has been added to Home –> Supervision –> Treatment/Education Attendance and Client –> Treatment/Education Attendance –> Treatment Attendance. Facilitator is a free text field for recording the Facilitator of the Treatment/Education session.

On the Log Attendance dialog on the Client page (Client –> Treatment/Education Attendance –> Treatment Attendance –> Log Attendance), Facilitator can also be set for the individual Client.

On the Treatment Attendance page, a Facilitator Column has been added.

Facilitator filter has also been added; filters can be accessed from the Filtericon in the top right of the screen (shown in screenshot above):

The Facilitator field can also be edited on the Treatment Attendance page. Select the tool tip to the far right of a previously recorded attendance and select Edit Attendance.

As the Facilitator field is free text, simply replace the existing facilitator with the new facilitator’s name and click Save:

TANF Eligibility Report

A new TANF Eligibility Report has been added to Reporting and will be visible to Users with theView TANF permission. The User may select the following required filters:

  • Location;
  • Caseload;
  • Track/Phase;
  • Status.

Upon selecting the Run Report button, the report displays all Clients where TANF Eligible is set to “Yes”.

The report can be printed by clicking the Print icon (printer) in the top right of the screen.

Specialty Court Listing Filters

Filtering capabilities have been added to all four Specialty Court listings – Referred, Awaiting Intake, Admitted and All. To utilize Filters, click the Filters icon in the top right of the screen.

When the filters are active, the Filter field will turn orange. Users can clear all filters by clicking the “X” button.
