The AIMS v1.50 release includes several bug fixes and the following new functionality:

Suspended Involvements Displayed on Admitted List 

v1.50 allows users to view both Suspended and Active involvements on the Specialty Court Involvements Overview –> Admitted tab. Suspended and Active involvements are indicated under the Status column, with the ability to toggle/sort Admitted involvements by “Suspended” or “Active” status:

Users can also filter Admitted Involvements by Status by selecting the filtering option and choosing either “Active” or “Suspended” from the drop-down:

Users also have the ability to print a list of Admitted involvements based on the “Active” or “Suspended” filter by filtering by the desired Status and selecting the Print icon:

Suspended Involvements added to Specialty Court Dashboards

On the Specialty Court Dashboard, under “Specialty Courts: Core Measures,” Suspended has been added as a metric on the Clients by Status chart. 

Specialty Court Data Sources

Phase and Track columns have been added to the “All Time Admitted Involvements” data source:

Additional Columns added to “Currently Admitted Involvements” Data Source

The following columns have been added to the “Currently Admitted Involvements” Data Source:

  1. Age at Admittance,
  2. Primary Drug of Choice, and
  3. Secondary Drug of Choice.

Note that these columns also exist in the “All Time Admitted Involvements” Data Source. 

Lastly,the Termination Date column has been removed from the “Currently Admitted Involvements” Data Source as any involvements listed in this Data Source cannot have a termination date.

Additionally, the description for “Currently Admitted Involvements” has been changed to: “All active and suspended specialty court involvements”:

Schedule View on Calendar

v1.50 allows users to view the Calendar in a schedule listing. To view as a schedule listing, select Schedule from the view option:

Clicking on a specific event from the schedule listing will navigate users to that task’s event’s page:

Updates to New Client Involvement Wizard

In an effort to reduce the number of duplicate records, when adding a new Involvement and/or Client, AIMS now requires users to first search for an existing Client:

If the Client is not found, users will then be prompted to “Add New Client”:

The “Add New Client” workflow remains the same but now includes demographic information such as Gender, Height and Weight, Hair Color, Eye Color and Body Marks on the first screen:

If the Client is already in the system, AIMS will allow the user to click on the existing client, displaying a summary of their demographic information, Client # and photo to verify identity before proceeding:

New Phase Timeline on the Specialty Court Involvement Overview

The Involvement Overview for admitted Clients has been changed to combine the Admitting Timeline and the Phase History list with a new Track/Phase Timeline in one overview card.

In the Involvement Overview, the new card shows the current track phase timeline as below.

Users have the option of viewing the Client’s Track/Phase history as before by clicking View Details to expand the history.

To view the Admitting Timeline, click the “View Admitting Timeline” navigation button on the top left and the card will slide to the Admitting Timeline.

To return to the Track Timeline, click “View Track Timeline” button on the top right.

Additional Permissions Required for View Hearing

Selecting the View Hearing permission now automatically selects the following permissions:

  • View Specialty Court Involvement;
  • View Criminal History Information;
  • View Community Service Information;
  • View Accounting Information;
  • View Compliance Information;
  • View Notes.

If a user does not have permissions to view information, those areas will be hidden accordingly in the application.

Permissions on Involvement Overview Pages

When user does not have permissions for viewing Surveys/Assessments/Goals, Documents, Accounting, or Community Service cards in the Involvement Overview pages, these cards now have an overlay displaying the text “Additional Permissions Required.”

The cards will no longer display an error when the user does not have correct permissions.

Treatment/Education Attendance Usability Improvements

The following improvements have been made to the Treatment/Education Attendance page.

  • When navigating to Supervision –> Treatment/Education Attendance, users are presented with the following fields:
    • Program;
    • Session Type;
    • Session Date;
    • Session length;
    • Facilitator.

When selecting the View Attendance List, all Client’s enrolled in the selected Program/Session are displayed. Note that no Status is displayed at this point, by default.

Per previous functionality, users may add a note or update the Status for a singular Client by checking the box next to their name and selecting their Status from the drop-down or typing in the free-text note. 

Users may update the Status of multiple Clients by selecting the check boxes of those Clients they wish to edit and clicking Edit –> Status. Note that Status changes will override any previous unsaved changes without warning.

To add the same Note to multiple Clients, select the check boxes of those Clients they wish to edit and clicking Edit –> Notes. Click Add to add the Note to all selected Clients. New Notes will override any previous unsaved changes without warning.

While the Status and Notes field have been updated for the selected Clients in the screenshot above, users still must click Submit. Note that the Submit button indicates the number of Clients that have been modified. Clicking Submit will remove the selected Clients from the list, leaving only Clients whose Status has not been recorded.

Users may remove a Client from the current list by selecting the “X” icon. This action only removes the Client from the current list and does not remove their enrollment.

Users may filter the list as they have previously, however, if changes have been made to any Status or Notes and the user attempts to use the filters before submitting the changes, the changes made will not be saved – the “Continue without saving changes?” will be displayed not alert the user.

Middle School added as new School Level option under Client Education

For customers engaged with Juvenile Clients, Middle School has been added under Education –> School Level.
