Officer Module

  • Ability to access the application from a wide range of browsers.

  • Ability to navigate through the application easily with a simple and efficient dashboard.

  • View an interactive dashboard that allows the user to filter the metrics based on that they want to be displayed.

  • View sase statistics based on a specified date range.

  • Ability to expand sase statistics to view the data that populated the metric in a list form that shows the defendant, their date of birth, their gender, race, and when they were added into the application.

  • View the overall check-in rate for all defendants that have been completed in the selected date range.

  • View a “Flagged Questions” graph that displays the questions from completed Kiosk or telephone check-ins that generated an alert to the Officer.

  • Ability to view and filter metrics that display outcome measures for defendants based on their detainee length of stay, safety rate, and success rate.

  • Ability to view a performance measures graph that displays data on defendants’ contact rates.

  • Ability to toggle between outcome measures and performance measures based on which metrics the user wants reflected on the dashboard.

  • View an interactive hearings calendar that allows the user to view and manage hearings for defendants.

  • Ability to view color-coded hearings to differentiate their status and type.

  • Ability to filter hearings by court, Officer, and hearing status.

  • Ability to toggle between time frames directly from the hearings calendar.

  • Ability to edit a hearing, reschedule a hearing, add comments, generate a progress report, or update the status of a hearing directly from the hearings calendar.

  • Ability to run a progress report that generates a Microsoft Word document ready for printing that reflects the date and/or court that is selected.

  • Ability to add a holiday to the hearings calendar that will allow the defendant to check-in on the first non-holiday weekday following their original report date.

  • Ability to view tasks from an overview screen that displays past due and upcoming tasks by defendant, the type of task that was assigned, that status of the task and which Officer the defendant is assigned to.

  • Ability to filter tasks by defendant, task type, status, due date, and Officer.

  • Ability to update and manage the details of a task directly from the tasks overview screen based on the status, contact date, and any additional comments the Officer might have.

  • Ability to access and set alerts from an alerts overview screen.

  • Ability to filter alerts based on defendant, alert type, the date and time the defendant was alerted at, the description of the alert, and whether the alert has been cleared or not.

  • Ability to clear alerts all at once or individually.

  • Ability to add new defendants from the dashboard.

  • Ability to add a defendant’s demographics and physical description, as well as any address(es), phone number(s), employment, and associate(s) they might have.

  • Ability to open a new case for a defendant and assign them an ID number, arrest date, release date, date of first contact, Officer, court and judge.

  • Ability to add and edit charges and conditions for a defendant.

  • Ability to add and manage contact and reporting requirements.

  • Ability to designate a contact and reporting requirement for a defendant based on the contact method, how often the contact should be repeated, the frequency, when the contact method will start, and the ability to add comments.

  • Ability to add a “Once Weekly” reporting schedule that allows a defendant to check-in on any day during the week but includes a preferred day to prevent a bottleneck of check-ins on more popular days.

  • Ability to excuse contacts directly from contact history by clicking on the contact status.

  • Ability to enable backdating for contact and reporting requirements so that the Officer is able to backdate a contact requirement to alleviate the need for the defendant to check-in on that same day.

  • Ability to schedule a new hearing from the defendant overview screen.

  • Ability to view alerts from the defendant overview screen.

  • Ability to create and send a message to a defendant that they will see when they perform a kiosk check-in.

  • Ability to search for defendants by their name or ID number.

  • Ability to filter search results by active or inactive cases.

  • Ability to generate an enrollment PIN for a defendant that they will use to log in to the kiosk when they perform a check-in.

  • Ability to print off a “Reporting Instructions” letter which contains helpful information to a defendant such as the defendant’s PIN number, reporting schedule(s), and custom instructions per contact type.

Defendant Module – Kiosk

  • Ability to select English or Spanish languages when logging in.

  • Ability to log into the kiosk using a unique and secure PIN number.

  • Ability to view messages sent from the user’s Officer.

  • Ability to answer a list of questions predetermined by the user’s Officer.

  • Ability for the defendant to review the answers to their questions on a “Review Your Answers” screen.

  • Ability to receive a receipt from the kiosk after a completed check-in that will detail the defendant’s name, PIN number, date of check-in, date their next report is due, as well as any messages the Officer sent the defendant.

Defendant Module – Phone Reporting

  • Defendant is given the convenience to check-in from any location using a telephone.

  • Ability to answer questions over the telephone using the phone’s keyboard.

  • Ability to hear verbally when their next telephone check-in is due.
